Free Guitar Concert with Samuel Klemke

Dear Friends,
German classical guitarist, Samuel Klemke, the second prize winner of the 2006 St. Joseph International Guitar Competition will give a free house concert at one of St. Joseph’s noted historical homes, 2635 Frederick Ave., on Tuesday, February 13 at 7:00 PM as part of a US concert tour.

Mr. Klemke has won numerous international competitions and recently completed his diploma in classical guitar performance at the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Weimar, Germany.  Further biographical information is available at the website: http://www.klemke.de

Dress will be very casual and a reception is planned at a local restaurant following the concert.  Details of the reception will be announced at the concert.

“The Young Guitarist’s Notespeller and Game Book” has climbed to the Mel Bay Best Seller List

Dear Friends,
Anthony Glise’s most recent work for Mel Bay Publications, “The Young Guitarist’s Notespeller and Game Book” has climbed to the Mel Bay Best Seller List (see Notespeller).

This book compliments one of Anthony’s other Mel Bay books, “Help! My Kid is Taking Music Lessons - A Handbook for the Musically-Challenged Parents of Young Musicians” (see: Help!), which is designed to help parents (and music teachers) guide children through the early stages of music lessons.
