2003 Summer: Glise is currently Director of Guitar Studies which is under development at the famed Rocky Ridge Music Center for their summer program (projected: July-August, 2003) in Estes Park, Colorado, US.
Founded in 1942, Rocky Ridge is the oldest program of its type for classical musicians. Nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, it offers young musicians the chance to grow and musically develop in a setting that is challenging and supportive with an opportunity
to interact with some of the leading musicians and teachers in
the world.
Rocky
Ridge is also frequented by a number of European and Asian students
and offers American and foreign musicians a chance to study with exceptional-quality faculty in one of the most scenic regions
of the US. A full orchestra, intensive chamber music program,
numerous concerts, courses in music theory as well as private
lessons - all in the heart of the Rocky Mountains - explain why
Rocky Ridge is one of America's most popular sites for summer
studies.
Glise
is currently helping develop a classical guitar program for Rocky
Ridge, which is projected to begin in 2003.
